Sepahijala DM Dr SS Jaiswal holds meeting on current national situation with district administration

Agartala, 10th May 2025:  Under the initiative of the Sepahijala district administration, a high-level meeting was convened this afternoon at the conference hall of the Bishramganj District Magistrate’s office. The discussion, conducted under directives from the Union Home Ministry, focused on the prevailing situation in India and necessary administrative measures. 

Sepahijala District Magistrate Dr. Siddharth Shiv Jaiswal chaired the session, which was attended by key officials including DCM Sumen Debnath, DCM Dhrubajyoti Debma, Bishalgarh Subdivision Magistrate Rakesh Chakraborty and Subdivision Magistrates from Sonamura and Jampuijala. Additionally, Block Development Officers (BDOs) from the seven blocks of Sepahijala district, along with representatives from various departments, including the district Research & Development wing participated in the discussions. 

During the meeting, Dr. Jaiswal reviewed key concerns related to mock drill on the 7th and emphasized the necessity of maintaining operational readiness. He instructed district employees to remain on duty in accordance with Union Home Ministry directives to effectively manage the situation. 

Speaking to reporters following the meeting, Dr. Jaiswal reiterated the administration’s commitment to ensuring stability and preparedness in the district.
