Tripura Launches 24×7 Helpline for Students Studying Outside the State

Agartala, 10th May 2025:  In light of the ongoing India-Pakistan tensions, the Tripura government has launched a 24×7 emergency helpline to support students from the state who are pursuing education in different parts of the country.

According to an official order, the initiative is aimed at providing a dependable point of contact for Tripura-origin students who may require assistance during emergencies or other difficulties related to their academic stay outside the state.

Official Notice for Students from Tripura Studying Outside the State, “All students from Tripura currently studying in other parts of India are informed that they may contact the following telephone numbers of Tripura Bhawan, New Delhi, for any kind of help or assistance,” the order stated.

The designated helpline numbers, active round-the-clock, Ranjit Das, TCS, Joint Resident Commissioner, Tripura Bhawan, New Delhi: 9612766232, Emergency Student Helpline Numbers: 011-23015157, 9871035944.

“These numbers will remain operational 24×7 to extend any necessary support or emergency aid to the students”, the order reads.
