Agartala, 14th May 2025:  An unusual sight caused a stir among villagers in the Dakshin Charilam No. 6 Colony under Bishramganj Police Station on late Tuesday night. A toy helicopter, flashing red and blue lights, hovered above a large tree before descending into bamboo bushes, sparking widespread alarm.

Eyewitnesses reported seeing the small aircraft circling the ground, its lights blinking ominously. Concerned residents hesitated to approach the object, fearing it might pose a danger. “We didn’t know if it would explode or if something was hidden inside,” said one resident, who watched the scene unfold from a distance.

As word spread, panic gripped the community. With the country in a tense situation, speculation arose that the unidentified flying object could be linked to a security threat. The Bishramganj Police Station was swiftly informed.

Upon receiving the report, Officer-in-Charge (OC) Subimal Debnath and Second OC Mithun Saha rushed to the scene. Using flashlights, they cautiously examined the toy helicopter before picking it up. “After careful inspection, we realized it was nothing more than a toy,” stated OC Debnath. “There was no cause for alarm.”

The officers reassured the crowd, and soon, the tension eased. They took the toy helicopter to the police station, marking the end of the night’s drama. However, villagers remained puzzled. “No one in our area owns a toy like this,” remarked a local resident, adding to the lingering mystery.

Women, in particular, expressed heightened fear, some believing the object might have been an enemy device. Despite the harmless nature of the discovery, the incident served as a stark reminder of the underlying anxieties present in the community.

Police have urged residents to remain calm and report suspicious activities, reinforcing their commitment to maintaining peace and security in the area.
