Agartala, 14th May 2025: Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha today expressed strong support for Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Indian Armed Forces, following the successful execution of Operation Sindoor in response to the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir.
Speaking at the ‘Tiranga Yatra’ organized by Citizens For National Security in front of Rabindra Shatabarshiki Bhawan, Dr. Saha condemned the brutal killing of 26 innocent tourists by Pakistan-backed terrorists on April 22 in Pahalgam. He highlighted that Operation Sindoor, led by Prime Minister Modi, was a resounding success, with the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force effectively dismantling terrorist bases in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.
“We are proud of our forces and the decisive action they took. Operation Sindoor has sent a strong message to those who try to harm India. The joint efforts of our armed forces have given a fitting reply to the terrorists and Pakistan,” Dr. Saha stated.
The Tiranga Yatra, held to honor the military’s success and show unwavering solidarity with PM Modi, saw the participation of Transport Minister Sushanta Chowdhury, Social Welfare and Social Education Minister Tinku Roy, and other prominent leaders. The procession traversed several key roads in Agartala, emphasizing unity and patriotism among the people.
“We stand firmly with Prime Minister Modi and our armed forces. This is a moment to thank and honor their dedication and bravery,” the Chief Minister concluded.
