Agartala Nov 16: NSUI, Tripura Unit on Wednesday placed deputation to the Principal of Umakanta English Medium School raising voice against the incident of physical torture on a school student.
“School teacher Goutam Rudra Pal has beaten up the school student namely Anurag Roy inhumanly. Following this brutal torture, Anurag is availing treatment outside the state”, said NSUI state president Samrat Roy.He added, “We demand exemplary punishment of the accused teacher and the school authority must bear all the medical expenses of the injured child”.Meanwhile, the school principal assured that the teacher will be punished after proper investigation.
On the other hand, NSUI threatened to go for mass agitation if the accused teacher, Goutam Rudra Pal is not punished within 2-3 days.
