EM Ratanlal Nath inaugurates “Nipun Tripura” website, logo, Mission Mukul, Vidyasetu Modules

Agartala, November 18, 2022: Education minister Ratanlal Nath on Friday inaugurated the “Nipun Tripura” website, its logo, Mission Mukul and Vidyasetu Modules at Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhavan here.

At the inaugural ceremony, Nath was accompanied by Secretary of Social Welfare and Social Education department Abhishek Singh, Secretary of School Education Department Sharadindu Chowdhury, Director of SCERT Nripendra Chandra Sharma were present while Director of Pre-Primary Education department Bimbisar Bhattacharjee gave a welcome address.

Speaking in the programme, Education minister Nath said “Scientific National Education Policy-2020 has been launched in the country with the combination of nationalism and modernity. The objective is to strengthen the foundation of primary education to educate the future generations of the country in quality education.”

He said “The state government is moving ahead with the idea of read to learn, learn to read as a permanent goal for the development of the state’s education system because only education can take the nation to reach the top of development.

He also said that “Nipun Tripura” aims to enable all children to acquire linguistic and mathematical skills by the end of third grade by 2026-27, i.e. to make children proficient in reading and counting. Already 21 Anganwadi Kendras will be coordinated with schools through Mission Mukul.In this programme, various DEOs, officials of various levels of SW&SE department, head teachers and teachers of various schools were present. A documentary film and “Nipun Tripura” promotional film were also screened.
