Abhishek Banerjee earns critical acclaim from industry luminaries for ‘Stolen’

Bollywood actor Abhishek Banerjee is receiving widespread acclaim for his riveting performance in the psychological thriller “Stolen”, with accolades pouring in not only from audiences but also from prominent figures in the Indian film industry, including Ali Fazal, Nushrratt Bharuccha, Rajkumar Rao and Rana Daggubati.

The film’s premiere was met with a resounding reception, with accolades flooding in across social media platforms, applauding Banerjee’s nuanced portrayal.

Actress Nushrratt Bharuccha shared her reaction after watching the film and said that it is brilliantly made. She said the film scared her, made her cry, shocked her and forced her to think deeply. Many viewers also shared her reaction on social media and described this film as an emotional rollercoaster.

Actor Ali Fazal also took to social media to applaud Stolen, calling it a “much-needed” film in today’s cinematic landscape. He commended the storytelling and direction, noting that the film left him stunned—an impact he rarely experiences with contemporary cinema.

Stolen also received strong support from Rana Daggubati, Abhishek Banerjee’s co-star from Rana Naidu, who urged his followers not to miss the film.
