Agartala, 6th June 2025: A tragic bike accident claimed the life of a young man at midnight yesterday near Battali Langta Dargah. The deceased has been identified as Arif Hossain also known as Rana, a resident of Kamalnagar Kuthirmura under Sonamura Police Station.
According to sources, Arif was riding a Pulsar 220 motorcycle bearing registration number TR07H-5845 from Sonamura to Melaghar when he lost control and collided with a roadside pillar. The impact was severe, causing fatal injuries.
Residents in the vicinity rushed out after hearing a loud noise and found the injured rider lying on the ground alongside his damaged bike. Authorities were promptly alerted and the Melaghar Fire Service responded swiftly, transporting Arif to Melaghar Hospital. His body remains there as official procedures continue. Local officials are investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.
