Tom-Tom driver arrested with narcotics at Udaipur

Agartala, 16^th June 2025:   Udaipur police have arrested a tom-tom driver identified as Billal Mia on charges of drug possession. According to Udaipur Sub-division Police Officer Nirman Das, residents of Udaipur had earlier booked Billal Mia with narcotics and handed him over to the police. After being released, he was taken into custody again. 

Authorities intercepted Billal Mia while he was driving a tom-tom bearing registration number TR03D-3108 at Udaipur’s Ramesh Chowmuhani. Upon inspection, police recovered narcotics from the vehicle and seized the tom-tom. 

Billal Mia is currently in police custody at Radha Kishore Pur police station, where a case has been registered against him. The investigation into the matter is ongoing.
