Agartala, 19th June 2025 : A Progress Review Meeting and Seminar on the nationwide environmental campaign, “One Crore Trees in One Year”, will be held on September 6, 2025 at the Constitution Club of India in New Delhi. The event, scheduled from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM is being organized by Positive Barta, the driving force behind this ambitious green initiative.
Launched with the aim of planting one crore trees within a year, the campaign has rapidly evolved into a nationwide movement, drawing participation from individuals, communities, and stakeholders committed to environmental sustainability.
The upcoming seminar will serve as a key platform to assess the progress of the campaign, celebrate milestones, and honor the efforts of grassroots volunteers and environmental champions. One of the highlights of the event will be the felicitation of the top 40 individuals who have contributed the most by planting trees across the country.
According to Positive Barta Founder and CEO, Malay Pit, the seminar will feature a series of interactive sessions, keynote presentations, and testimonials from community leaders. The event is expected to foster meaningful dialogue on India’s green future and strengthen collaborations among environmental advocates, policymakers, and civil society.
