Actor Mithilesh Chaturvedi who is remembered for his roles in films like “Gadar…”, “Fiza” and shows such as “Scam 1992…”, passed away early Thursday at a private hospital in Mumbai after a massive heart attack. He was 68.
Mithilesh was being treated at the Kokilaben Ambani hospital for the last 10 days.
He suffered a heart attack at 4 am, following which he passed away, family sources here said.
His funeral will take place in Mumbai’s Versova later in the day around 2-3pm, they said.
The actor is known for being part of multiple films and shows such as “Gadar: Ek Prem Katha”, “Koi Mil Gaya”, “My Friend Pinto”, ‘Phata Poster Nikla Hero” and “Ready” among others. He was also an active member of the theatre world.
