The audition round of ‘Indian Idol 13’ showcased some of the finest musical voices by singers who came to try their luck for becoming India’s next singing ‘Davedaar’.
While many contestants stunned the judges with their performance, 17-year-old Bidipta Chakraborty’s performance made the ‘mausam musicana’.
During her audition round , Bidipta from Kolkata took over the Indian Idol platform with her mind-blowing performance. The contestant, who was accompanied by her parents on stage, delivered a sensational performance on ‘Dil Deewana’ wooing the judges with her melodious voice. She also revealed about her desire to become a renowned playback singer.
Judge Neha Kakkar complimented her, saying, “You are very beautiful. There is a sense of divinity and innocence in your voice that made your performance extraordinary. You will go a long way. Wishing you all the best.”
Bidipta shared her experience, “I was living my dream while performing during the auditions for Indian Idol 13. I was nervous but the judges made my comfortable and that boosted my confidence to deliver my best. I will work hard to become India’s next davedaar.”
‘Indian Idol Season 13’ airs Saturday and Sunday at 8 pm on Sony.
