Paresh Rawal set to rejoin ‘Hera Pheri 3’

Date:

) There’s renewed hope for ‘Hera Pheri’ fans as actor Paresh Rawal is reportedly in talks to return as the iconic Babu Bhaiya in the third installment of the beloved franchise.

One of Bollywood’s most cherished comic trilogies, ‘Hera Pheri’ has long held a special place in popular culture, with Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal forming an iconic trio as Raju, Shyam and the unforgettable Baburao Ganpatrao Apte, fondly known as Babu Bhaiya.

Speculation had been rife that Rawal would not be part of ‘Hera Pheri 3’ following an alleged fallout with Kumar and ensuing legal entanglements. This development had left fans deeply disheartened, as it raised concerns that the original chemistry of the trio would be disrupted in the third installment.

Sources close to the production reveal that longstanding differences between Rawal and the filmmakers have been amicably resolved and the trio may once again share screen space, rekindling the very essence of the franchise. If confirmed, the news would come as a joyous relief to million who consider ‘Hera Pheri’ not just a film, but a treasured slice of nostalgia.

The first film, released in 2000, became a sleeper hit and was followed by ‘Phir Hera Pheri’ in 2006, both achieving cult status over time. With ‘Hera Pheri 3’ on the horizon, hopes are high that the film will live up to and perhaps surpass its illustrious predecessors.
