Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana movie, which was announced recently has made people sit up and take notice as stellar VFX brings India’s most celebrated epic tale to life.
The movie with star cast featuring Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Yash as Ravana, and Sai Pallavi as Sita, is said to have a budget of Rs 1600 crore, making it the biggest and most expensive movie project in Indian cinema history.
It is set to release in two parts, with the first part coming out on Diwali 2026 and subsequently the second part on the same day in 2027.
One of the main highlights of the movie is its music, which is jointly composed by maestros AR Rahman and Hans Zimmerman.
The first look of the magnum opus has attracted mixed reactions on social media. The teaser introduces the two main members of the cast- Ranbir Kapoor as Ram and Yash as Ravana.
A noteworthy feature of the teaser was the captivating visuals created through the adept use of CGI. Audiences have appreciated the competent and high definition use of realistic CGI and compared it to the film Adipurush.
