Taapsee shares humorous comment on husband Mathias Boe’s retirement

Date:

Actress Taapsee Pannu, who tied the knot with badminton player Mathias Boe in March this year, has been enjoying her time at the Paris Olympics 2024.

Recently, Boe announced his retirement as a badminton coach on Instagram, prompting a humorous comment from Pannu.

In his retirement announcement, Boe reflected on his career, stating, “My coaching days end here” and “I won’t be continuing in India or any other country.”

He described himself as a “tired old man.” Pannu responded with a light-hearted comment, saying, “But also now you are a married man. U need to take a step back. I need to come back home from work every day to ready dinner and cleaning in order. So chop chop,” accompanied by a teary-eyed emoji and a red heart emoji.

Boe had previously shared a heartfelt note for Indian players Chirag Shetty and Satwiksai Raj Rankireddy, who did not secure a win at the Olympics.

The couple, who married on March 23, 2024, in an intimate ceremony in Udaipur, chose not to disclose their wedding pictures. They have recently purchased a house in Denmark and plan to spend their summer there after the Olympics.

On the professional front, Taapsee Pannu has starred in films such as Chashme Baddoor, Baby, Naam Shabana, Mission Mangal, Pink, and Manmarziyaan. Her latest appearance was in Rajkumar Hirani’s 2023 film Dunki, alongside Shah Rukh Khan. She is set to reunite with Akshay Kumar in Khel Khel Mein and has other projects lined up, including Phir Aayi Haseen Dilrruba and Woh Ladki Hain Kahaan?.
