116th birth anniversary of Maharaja Bir Bikram Manikya Bahadur: A grand celebration at Nuia auditorium, Khumulwng

Agartala, 17th August 2024:   The INTACH Tripura Chapter, in collaboration with the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC), Khumulwng is proud to announce the 116th birth anniversary celebration of Maharaja Bir Bikram Kishore Manikya Bahadur. The commemorative event will be held on Sunday at the Nuia Auditorium, Khumulwng and culminate on his birthday on 19th August, 2024.

Dignatories and guests present will include the state’s Chief Minister, royal scion Pradyot Kishore Manikya Deb Barman, Vice-Chancellor of Tripura University and Kriti Devi, Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha Tripura East) and the TTAADC CEM, Chairman and Members, students and the public.

The celebration will feature several events that reflect the legacy and contributions of Maharaja Bir Bikram, including the 116th Birth Anniversary Celebration Program on Sunday.

In addition to the main program, the highlight is a Photographic Exhibition, featuring the Life and Time of Maharaja Bir Bikram Manikya where one will be able to see rare photos and documents including his personal items.

Besides, traditional crafts and food stalls, a souvenir stall will be available from 18th to 19th August 2024 at the same venue. These activities aim to honour the Maharaja’s vision and impact on the cultural heritage of Tripura and provide attendees with an immersive experience.
