12 Delegates including Mizoram’s minister meets Tripura Lokayukta

Agartala, May 11, 2023: Mizoram’s Minister for Law and Justice, Transport, Parliamentary Affairs, Environment, Forests and Climate Change TJ Lalnuntulunga visited Tripura on Thursday.

A 12-member delegation led by Mizoram minister TJ Lalnuntulunga arrived in state and met with Lokayukta Kalyan Narayan Bhattacharya. How Tripura’s Lokayukta is going, its work is discussed.

Lokayukta Kalyan Narayan Bhattacharya said that the Mizoram delegation has learned about Tripura’s Lokayukta in detail.

It is likely that some amendments will be made in the Lokayukta Act of Manipur and so they are getting to know about the working methods of Lokayuktas of different states.

Coming in Tripura, Mizoram minister TJ Lalnuntulunga praised the government. Basically, Mizoram minister visited the state to know how the Lokayukta is functioning and will try to implement it in Mizoram after being aware of Tripura’s hidden status, the delegates said.
