Agartala, 21st October 2024: The state government has lifted 163 BNSS from Kailashahar under Unakoti District after the Law and Order situation improved.
An order undersigned by Sub-divisional Magistrate Kailashahar said that the 163 BNSS (BHARATIYA NAGARIK SURAKSHA SANHITA) was imposed throughout the Sub-Division of Kailashahar under Unakoti District.
“Whereas, recommendation received from the Superintendent of Police, Unakoti District and higher authority for cancellation/withdrawal of Curfew due to improvement in the Law & Order situation. Now, the previous Order for Promulgation of U/S 163 under BNSS is being revoked/cancelled with immediate affect i.e from 2.00 PM of 21st October”, the order reads.
