167 teachers successfully complete FLN training

Agartala, 6th  February 2026 :   The Block Project Coordinator (BPC) of Ampi Nagar has awarded Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) certificates to 167 teachers serving in various schools under the Ampi Nagar inspectorate in Gomati Tripura, including institutions within TTAADC and the state sector.

According to official reports, the FLN training programme was launched on 17th November 2025 and successfully concluded on 6th February 2026. Conducted in four batches, the programme enabled 167 teachers to complete their training under the guidance of skilled master trainers.

The BPC emphasized that the FLN initiative aims to strengthen teachers’ capacity in foundational literacy and numeracy. The training sessions provided participants with essential educational strategies and practical teaching tips designed to enhance classroom effectiveness.

Sources further noted that the programme sought to create a more supportive academic environment for both parents and students. To achieve this, expert resource persons were engaged to deliver motivational and skill-based sessions to the trainees.

The sessions were coordinated by Durgahari Jamatia (I/S), Matarai Reang (Dy. I/S), and Nakshatra Debbarma (Dy. I/S) of Ampi Nagar. The team of master trainers included Goutam Debbarma, Rupujit Debbarma, Rajesh Saha, Sashanka Das, and Paritosh Paul (Programme Officer).
