215 voters join BJP leaving TIPRA, CPIM and Cong

Agartala: June 04.  As the election from Lok Sabha is coming, the joining program has started by BJP and following this around 215 voters have joined BJP leaving TIPRA Motha, CPIM and Congress.

43 voters from 16 families today left Tipra Motha party and joined the BJP by holding the hand of the Minister of Tribal Welfare Department, Bikas Debbarma, in Tuithampui area under 29 Krishnapur Assembly Constituency. The newcomers were welcomed under the banner of Bharatiya Janata Party by several leaders of the BJP including Minister Bikas Debbarma, MDC Bidyut Debbarma.

Welcoming the newcomers into the family of Bharatiya Janata Party, Bikas Debbarma’s clear statement is that the people of the hills have understood what Tipra Motha is in a few days, people have now understood that Motha has done politics day after day by misleading the people. 

Debbarma has also said that in the next few days, thousands of people would join BJP leaving the TIPRA Motha party as a signboard.

Those who joined the BJP has said that they have understood that Pradyot Kishore Manikya have misled the people in the name of Tipraland and that is the reason they have joined the Bharatiya Janata Party for the sake of developing the socio-economic system.  According to sources, in the near future, thousands of workers from TIPRA Motha would join BJP.

While more 172 voters from 54 families left the CPI (M), Tipra Motha and Congress parties and joined the Bharatiya Janata Party during a huge public meeting at Srirampur Bazar under Chandipur mandal. In this joining meeting all the new members were welcomed by Social Welfare and Social Education Minister Tinku Roy.
