Agartala, 9th September 2025: The three-day Neermahal Water Festival will be held from September 12 to 14 at Rajghat Mukta Mancha near the iconic Neermahal in Melaghar. The festival is being organized jointly by the Tripura Tourism Development Corporation, Information and Cultural Affairs Department, Sepahijala District Administration, and Melaghar Municipal Council.
The festival will feature a host of exciting competitions and cultural programs. On September 12 and 13, state-level Manasamangal competitions will be staged from 2 pm onwards. On September 14, the day will begin with a group sub-district yoga competition at 10 am, followed by a state-level swimming contest in Rudrasagar Lake at 12 pm. The much-awaited boat racing competition will take place from 2 pm the same day.
Adding to the festive spirit, colorful cultural programs will be presented every evening on the open-air stage, promising an entertaining experience for visitors.
