Agartala, 22nd November 2025: The Tripura Bar Council has officially granted enrollment certificates to 420 lawyers, enabling them to practice before the High Court from today.
A member of the Tripura High Court Bar Council described the occasion as “a historic day for the legal fraternity,” noting that this is the first time such a large group of lawyers has been certified together. The certificates, he emphasized, hold immense significance for the new advocates, as they now begin their professional training with valid licenses.
The enrollment ceremony was organized at Muktadhara Auditorium in Agartala, drawing prominent figures from the legal community. Among those present were Advocate General Shaktimoy Chakraborty, senior advocates P.K. Biswas, P.K. Dhar, P.K. Pal, and K.N. Bhattacharjee, along with several other distinguished members of the Bar.
