Agartala, 8th May 2024: In a heart-wrenching incident this morning, a 5-year-old child, Arshi Sarkar, was severly injured after being struck by a car while crossing the road in the Amtali area.
Eyewitnesses, including family members, recounted the harrowing moment when young Arshi was hit by the vehicle. The child’s father, preparing to head to work, witnessed the devastating accident unfold before his eyes. Shocked and frantic, family members immediately rushed Arshi to Tripura Medical College Hospital for urgent medical attention.However, given the severity of Arshi’s injuries, medical professionals swiftly made the decision to transfer him to GB Hospital for specialized care.
Adding to the distress of the situation, the driver responsible for the accident fled the scene, leaving Arshi battling for his life.
