Agartala, 20th July 2025:   In a spirited effort to promote environmental balance and awareness, a unique campaign titled “Ek Per Maa Ke Naam” took place in Agartala under the initiative of the 6-Agartala Mandal Minority Morcha. The event featured a vibrant cycle rally and a community-driven tree plantation programme.

This morning saw participants ranging from BJP Vice President Papia Datta to local councillors, party leaders and members of the minority community join the eco-conscious cycle rally. The procession carried the message of ecological responsibility through the streets of the 6-Agartala constituency.

As part of the campaign, saplings were planted along the Dighi Par area adjacent to the Basic Training Ground in the 6-Agartala Legislative Assembly constituency. Pedestrians were also gifted saplings and sensitized about the vital role of trees in environmental protection.

The initiative not only highlighted the importance of greener practices but also engaged the local community in a conversation about sustainability and individual responsibility towards nature.
