Agartala, 12th June 2025: The District Education Department felicitated 820 outstanding students from Sepahijala district who excelled in the secondary and higher secondary examinations. A grand felicitation ceremony was organized at Sonamura Town Hall today to recognize their achievements.
Sepahijala Zilla Parishad Sabhadipati Supriya Das Datta inaugurated the event, which was attended by MLA Kishor Barman of Nalchar assembly constituency, District Magistrate Dr. Siddharth Shiv Jaiswal, District Education Officer Malay Bhowmik, Sonamura Nagar Panchayat Chairperson Sarada Chakraborty and several social workers including Uttam Das and Shubhrajit Das.
As part of the recognition program, three meritorious students from each high school and higher secondary school in the district were felicitated for their exceptional performance. The event highlighted the district’s commitment to academic excellence and encouragement of young talent.
This initiative aims to inspire students to strive for higher educational standards and motivate future scholars to achieve distinction in their academic pursuits.
