99.13 percent of candidates appeared for second day in Madhyamik exam

Agartala, March 18: On the second day of Madhyamik examination conducted by the Tripura Board of Secondary Education, a total of 36,799 candidates out of 37,123 appeared recording an attendance of 99.13 percent on Saturday.

In the Madhyamik exam, TBSE conducted Bengali, Hindi, Kakbarak, Mizo, Madrasa Alim (New Syllabus) Arabic, Bengali exam of Madhyamik (New Syllabus) today. Out of the total 77 secondary examination centers in the state, the condition of all the examination centers was peaceful. There were no reports of expulsion of any candidate for malpractice in today’s exam.

There were 37,123 candidates in Madhyamik and Madrasa Alim New Syllabus English exam. Among them, 17450 male students and 19673 female students. Today, 36,799 candidates appeared for the exam across the state and among them, 17321 are male students and 19478 are female students. The number of absences is 129 boys and 195 girls. The attendance percentage of students is 19.13 percent.

Board President Dr Bhabatosh Saha today visited Reshambagan Higher Secondary School, Pallimangal Class XII School, Raniganj Higher Secondary School Girls School, Ranirbazar Higher Secondary School, Chowdhury Bari Higher Secondary School Girls School, Birendranagar Class XII School, Champaknagar Higher Secondary School and Board Deputy Secretary Subhashis Chowdhury visited Sepahijala Higher Secondary School, Bishalgarh Higher Secondary School, Charilam Higher Secondary School, Office Tilla Higher Secondary School examination centers.
