AAP, Tripura state committee seeks clarifications from BJP-led governments

Agartala, August 30, 2022: Aam Aadmi Party state committee on Tuesday sought several point of clarifications from the BJP-led government in different states and at the centre.

Speaking to reporters here at Agartala Press Club, Dhalai district’s co-incharge Prabir Kumar Kalai said that the Aam Aadmi Party has captured power in Punjab and now trying its best to form government in Gujarat, Arunachal Pradesh and Tripura.

The point of clarifications are- BJP is using your tax money, which comes at the cost of common man’s blood and sweat, to pay the debts of their millionaire friends. BJP has brought down governments in many states so far by buying MLAs with your money. Governments fell in Maharashtra, Goa, Karnataka, Assam, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur and Meghalaya. People elected a government with high expectations and BJP brought down the government by buying MLAs based on money. BJP has the same pattern everywhere to bring down the government. In all these states, BJP bought 277 MLAs across the country by fearing CBI/ED raids. Even if Rs 20 crore each were given to all MLAs, Rs 5500 crore has been invested so far.

Today in the country they have increased inflation so much that every person is very worried about inflation: In 2014 diesel price was Rs 54, today it is Rs 90. In 2014, the price of petrol was Rs 60, today it is Rs 110. CNG was available at Rs 35, today it is Rs 75. Essential items such as kitchen cylinders, which were earlier available at Rs 410, have become Rs 1053 today. Edible oil used to be available at Rs 70, today it has become Rs 170. Similarly the price of every food and drink has gone up and the price of everything has doubled or tripled. So much inflation, GST increased from above, where is this money going? The hard-earned money of common masses is either being waived off by BJP’s millionaire friends or used to buy MLAs. GST was imposed on buttermilk, curd, wheat and rice if the government was to fall in Maharashtra, same way they increased tax on petrol and diesel, increased inflation, waived loans of millionaire friends and legislators. The government of any state will buy, exclude. BJP is sucking the money of the poor. All the money is being spent to fulfill Modiji’s power, he added.

In the press conference, Khowai district’s co-incharge Ranjit Datta, and members Bikram Debbarma, Satya Debbarma, Samir Tripura, John Debbarma and Manati Debbarma were present.
