Ad-hoc promotions regularized: TCS Officers’ Association congratulates state government

Agartala, 25th November 2025:    The Tripura Civil Service (TCS) Officers’ Association has extended its congratulations to the state government for its decision to regularize ad-hoc promotions of employees.

The Association described the move, taken under the leadership of Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha and approved by the state cabinet, as a timely and significant step in safeguarding the interests of employees across all levels.

According to the Association, the decision will benefit not only serving employees but also retired government staff, ensuring comprehensive advantages for the workforce.

While noting that the matter remains subject to the final verdict of the Supreme Court in the pending Special Leave Petition (SLP), the Association hailed the government’s initiative as bold and employee-centric.

In its statement, the TCS Officers’ Association conveyed heartfelt congratulations to Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha and members of the state cabinet for prioritizing the welfare of government employees.
