Agartala, 17th March 2025: The Agartala Deed Writers’ Association conducted its election today at the court premises. A total of 13 candidates contested for 11 posts in this election.
Initially, 16 nomination papers were submitted, but one was rejected, and two candidates withdrew their nominations. As a result, 13 candidates remained in the fray for the 11 posts.
The vote counting is scheduled to take place this evening, following which the names of the elected candidates will be announced. A total of 70 voters from the Agartala and Jirania areas participated in the election.
