Agartala, 27th July 2024: The Agartala Municipal Corporation celebrated Vanamhotsav on Saturday in Ward No. 14 and 19. The event was attended by Agartala Municipal Corporation Mayor and MLA Dipak Majumder along with Ward No. 14 Corporator Snigdha Das Deb and Ward No. 19 Corporator Bhaswati Debbarma.
In his address at both events, Mayor Majumder highlighted Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call to plant saplings in the name of mothers to foster environmental protection.
“While tree planting ceremonies are frequently held, many saplings fail to thrive due to insufficient care. The Prime Minister’s initiative emphasizes planting a tree in honor of a mother and nurturing it with the same dedication,” Majumder stated.
