Agartala Municipal Corporation pushes forward with development projects in GB Bazar

Agartala, 18th June 2024:   The Agartala Municipal Corporation is undertaking significant developmental work at the market area in front of GBP Hospital with a strong cooperation from the locals on Tuesday. Corporation’s Mayor Dipak Majumder inspected the area’s roads and water drainage system, emphasizing the corporation’s commitment to expediting these projects.

During his visit, Mayor Majumder announced that the municipal corporation has launched several initiatives to ensure the swift completion of the developmental work. He also revealed plans for financial assistance to cover drainage systems.

In addition to evaluating infrastructure issues, the Mayor engaged with local traders to discuss their concerns and gather feedback. He highlighted the importance of collective effort in the successful implementation of such essential development projects.

Accompanying the mayor were key officials, including Mayor-in-Council members Hiralal Debnath and Shampa Sen Sarkar, Corporation Commissioner Dr. Shailesh Kumar Yadav and representatives from the GB Bazar Traders Association. Their presence underscored the collaborative approach being taken to address the area’s needs.
