Agartala, 18th March 2025:   Discontented over the delay in receiving their promised flats at the Lighthouse complex near the Agartala Border Gol Chakkar, customers from various districts of Tripura staged a protest at the TUDA office here today.

“The flats were supposed to be handed over in 2022, but the promise remains unfulfilled even now,” said one of the protesters. “Despite paying money in two or three installments at the TUDA office, no action has been taken,” they added.

The protesters further demanded, “We want the government to refund the money we paid for the flats, or else arrange for our homes immediately.” They also met with the state’s Joint Secretary to raise their concerns and submitted a humble appeal to the Chief Minister, requesting prompt and effective measures to resolve the issue.

The protesters expressing frustration and anger over the prolonged inaction, hoped that the Chief Minister would address their grievances soon and bring a satisfactory resolution to the matter.
