Agartala, 14th August 2024: Emphasizing the pivotal role of agriculture in shaping the future, Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Ratan Lal Nath on Wednesday participated in a joint review meeting of the Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Department and the Horticulture and Soil Conservation Department. The meeting was held at the Agricultural Research Center auditorium in Arundhati Nagar, Agartala.
During the session, detailed discussions were conducted on the current status and future strategies of the departments. A significant portion of the meeting focused on the “Chief Minister Integrated Crop Management Program (MICMP),” with the presence of the Agriculture Secretary, Director, all Deputy Directors, and Superintendent of Agriculture Officers. The discussions aimed at enhancing the welfare of farmers and strengthening the rural economy.
