Alumni members of Jolaibari ClassXII School unite to aid flood victims

Agartala, 9th September 2024:    Former students of Jolaibari Class XII School have come together to support those affected by the recent floods. These alumni, now distinguished professionals in various fields such as medicine, law, and civil services, have rallied to provide much-needed assistance to their community.

On Monday, a health camp was organized at Kalsi Ramthakur Ashram, where essential items were distributed to flood victims. The camp saw participation from numerous doctors from Agartala and ex-students of Jolaibari School. They conducted health check-up camp and provided necessary medicines to those in need.

In-charge of Jolaibari Primary Health Center Binita Chakma expressed her satisfaction with the collaborative efforts, stating that the health center is doing its best to support the initiative. Dr. Gautam Majumdar, a renowned state doctor shared his happiness in being able to assist the community.

This initiative by the Jolaibari alumni is set to continue with additional camps held at Jolaibari and Debdaru on the same day, further extending their support to the flood-affected areas.
