Agartala, December 22, 2022: Agartala Municipal Corporation Mayor Dipak Majumder and Barjala MLA Dr Dilip Kumar Das visited a road in Ward number 02 at Narsingarh on Thursday and inspected the miserable condition of the road.
The Mayor and MLA was accompanied by the corporator of ward number 2 Sharmistha Bardhan, North Zonal chairman and corporator Pradip Chanda along with officials of the Corporation.
Speaking to media persons here, Majumder said that there has been a long pending problem of the residents in Ward number 02 over a road connecting Narsingarh and Bagadi areas which needs immediate renovation.
“I have interacted with the residents of these two areas and there is an utmost need to renovate this 200 metres long road”, he added.
Mayor also urged the residents to leave some portion of their land so that a road of 12 metres wide along with drains can be constructed. “The corporation will initiate process to begin the work as soon as possible”, he also added.
