Agartala, December 26: Following the success of last year’s initiative, Agartala Municipal Corporation has once again spearheaded the distribution of the Sharad Samman awards, with various clubs in Agartala responding to the call for applications with great enthusiasm.
In a crucial development, a significant meeting convened on Tuesday in the conference hall of Agartala Municipal Corporation to discuss the arrangements for the Sharad Samman awards distribution. Presiding over the meeting was Dipak Majumdar, the Mayor of the Corporation, who shared important insights into the upcoming recognition ceremony.
Mayor Majumdar announced that a total of 21 clubs would be felicitated for their outstanding contributions in categories such as best lighting, best mandap decoration, best theme, organization of puja led by women, and the best return with the finest statue. This recognition aims to celebrate and acknowledge the efforts of these clubs in enhancing the festive spirit and cultural vibrancy of Agartala city during the Sharad Samman festivities.
