Agartala, 28th March 2026:   Ahead of the upcoming by-election in Dharmanagar, the Amra Bangali Party organized a rally and public meeting in the town. The rally was attended by party members and supporters and moved through key areas of the town, drawing public attention.

After the rally, a market meeting was held where several party leaders addressed the gathering. The party’s candidate for the Dharmanagar by-election, Bibhash Ranjan Das, spoke about the party’s vision and appealed to the people for support. Other speakers included party secretary Gauranga Rudra Pal, youth and publicity secretary Dulal Ghosh, and student and youth secretary Biplab Das. Central committee member Ashok Kumar Das and Bangali Mahila Samaj secretary Kanan Das were also present at the event.

During the meeting, the speakers highlighted issues related to the identity, rights, and future of the Bengali community. They claimed that the community has faced long-term neglect and injustice despite its historical contributions to the country. The leaders also raised concerns about cultural, linguistic, and social challenges faced by Bengalis in different parts of India.

The party criticized various political groups, stating that they have failed to address these issues effectively. They said the Bengali community is often treated as a vote bank, while its real issues remain ignored. They emphasized the need for a strong platform to protect the interests and dignity of the Bengali people.

The leaders further stated that their movement aims to ensure basic needs such as food, clothing, shelter, education, healthcare, and employment for all, based on their ideological principles.

Appealing to voters, the party urged people to support their candidate Bibhash Ranjan Das in the upcoming by-election by voting for the “boat” symbol. They said this would help address local problems and secure a better future for the coming generations.
