Agartala, 30th April 2025: To prioritize the concept of “Early Childhood Care and Education” in the field of pre-primary education and also to maximize its implementation in all pre-primary schools of the state, the Pre-primary Cell, under the Directorate of Elementary Education arranged a 5-Days State Level Training of Master Trainers at Acharya Prafulla Chandra Smriti Vidya Mandir, kunjaban from today to 3rd May, 2025. During this training programme 47 no. of Block Resource Persons from eight Districts will be trained as master trainers, in return to train teachers responsible for pre-primary education of their concerned Districts.
The inaugural session of the programme was graced by the presence of Director, Elementary Education, N. C. Sharma, Joint Director Harshita Biswas, CBSE State Co-ordinator Swapan Majumder and Branch Officer of pre-primary cell Abhijit Samajpati.
Director, N. C. Sharma in his words mentioned that the Module of the training has been developed carefully, maintaining proximity with the curriculum and with practical implementation of various developmental aspects of a child. During this 5-days of training the trainees will be leant about the ways of classroom transactions, so that in turn they can ensure about the use of these techniques in all the 225 pre-primary schools of the state.
Joint Director, Harshita Biswas mentioned that in earlier periods Headmaster or Teacher-in-charges were trained about academic matters mainly, but now the mind set has been changed to develop master trainers from each district, so that they can support the teacher whenever and wherever required.
CBSE State Co-ordinator in his words prioritize the importance of foundational learning to develop students as competent learners.
Branch officer of Pre-primary Cell, Abhijit Samajpati in the welcome address mentioned that Master Trainers will play the most vital role for implementation of ECCE. So for next 5-days he appealed to the participants to be most sincere. They should clear all ambiguities to support the teachers best.
A total of 14 resource persons are assigned for the entire training schedule who will develop the BRPs as Master Trainers on ECCE. It is mentionable here that since 2021, with the initiative of pre-primary cell many more training programmes were arranged as per need and will also be arranged in coming days.
