ANM School Building Ready in Two Months: Health Secretary

Agartala, 31ST May 2026:  Tripura is set to get a dedicated ANM school building at Durjoynagar in Agartala within the next two months, Health Secretary Kiran Gitte said on Sunday.

Gitte, along with senior health officials, inspected the newly constructed facility and reviewed preparations for its inauguration. He said the building will house nursing education institutions, including nursing colleges and a training school, as part of a larger nursing campus envisioned by the state government.

The facility will also include hostel accommodations and has scope for future expansion. Once operational, existing institutions will be shifted to the new campus.Gitte said the initiative aims to strengthen healthcare education in the state and meet the growing demand for trained healthcare professionals.
