The Art of Living has been conducting training and workshops in Dharmanagar for the past 25 years. The organization currently operates from three centers in the city—Noapara, adjacent to Noapara Kalibari, and a newly inaugurated center in Purba Bazar.
Founded by Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, The Art of Living is an international voluntary organization active in over 180 countries since 1981, promoting well-being through meditation, breathing techniques, and personal development programs. The group’s signature training method Sudarshan Kriya is scientifically recognized for alleviating stress and enhancing mental and physical health.
The new Dharmanagar center will offer regular Happiness courses, meditation sessions, and pranayama workshops, alongside weekly follow-ups every Sunday. Recently, on the occasion of Gurudev’s 69th birthday, 12 individuals voluntarily donated blood at a camp organized by the group.
With a mission of fostering kindness and harmony, The Art of Living seeks to eliminate negativity from society and encourage individuals to pursue inner happiness. The launch of the new training center marks another step in realizing this vision.
