Agartala, Tripura – May 22, 2023 – Assam down town University (AdtU) spearheaded a significant seminar on the National Education Policy (NEP) on May 21, 2023.
The seminar, held at Agartala, was organised under the auspices of the Northeast Educators Conclave, which aims to amalgamate leading educators from all districts of Tripura in a cooperative journey of growth, inspiration, and knowledge sharing.
The seminar commenced with a formal inauguration at 11:30 AM, setting the stage for a detailed exposition on the NEP by Dr. Rajeev Sarmah, Professor, Faculty of Science, AdtU. This was followed by an enlightening discourse from the former Deputy Registrar of Tripura University, Dr. Narendra Bhattacharya, further elucidating the intricacies and potential ramifications of the NEP.
The event facilitated a rich intellectual exchange, with an interactive session enabling educators to pose relevant queries and gain further clarity on the National Education Policy. After a scheduled recess for lunch, the seminar refocused on the instrumental role of AdtU in implementing the NEP, outlining its mission, achievements, and future prospects.
The seminar culminated with a felicitation program, honouring the meritorious contributions of educators in the field of education. A formal vote of thanks concluded the event, expressing gratitude to all contributors and attendees for their valuable involvement and participation.
