Agartala, 25th December 2025 : Assam Rifles celebrated Christmas with traditional fervour and spiritual devotion at the Unit Church, Radhanagar in 2025. The celebration was marked by the presence of Assam Rifles personnel and members of the local community, fostering a spirit of harmony, joy and togetherness.
The programme included hymns, prayers, scripture reading, gospel message and special songs, reflecting the true essence of Christmas—love, peace and compassion. The service highlighted the importance of faith, unity and gratitude, while encouraging values of selflessness and service to society.
The celebration concluded with a benediction prayer, followed by Christmas cake cutting and refreshments at the church compound, symbolising fellowship and shared joy.
Assam Rifles continues to uphold cultural traditions and community bonding, reinforcing its ethos as the ‘Sentinels of the Northeast’.
