Agartala, 4th September 2026 : Assam Rifles organised a community meal for orphaned and Divyang children at Nirmala Shishu Bhavan Anathalay in Kunjaban, Agartala, on the occasion of Janmashtami.
As part of its community outreach and welfare initiatives, Assam Rifles personnel interacted with the children and served them a wholesome meal, creating a warm and cheerful festive atmosphere.
The initiative reflected the spirit of compassion, inclusivity and community service associated with Janmashtami. The gathering also provided an opportunity for the personnel to share the festive joy with children from vulnerable sections of society.
