Assam Rifles holds lecture for school students on “World Nature Conservation Day”

Agartala, July 28, 2023: Agartala Battalion of Assam Rifles organised a lecture the occasion of “World Nature Conservation Day” for the students of Aralia SB School, Holakhet in Gomati District on Friday.

Awareness regarding importance of protecting the environment, challenges of climate change and necessity of conservation of natural resources was spread among students.

Focus was laid on conservation efforts required at all levels as the world is facing severe consequences of air pollution, water pollution, soil pollution, drought, floods, extinction of wildlife and other disastrous impacts due to depleting natural resources.

A total of 101 students & 21 teachers attended the informative lecture. The teachers also appreciated the efforts of Assam Rifles towards nation building and nature conservation.
