Agartala, 10th August 2026: A total of 27 probationers of the Tripura Civil Services (TCS) Batch 2026 visited Headquarters 21 Sector Assam Rifles, Agartala, as part of their professional orientation and familiarisation with the security and administrative landscape of Tripura.
The probationers were provided an insightful overview of Assam Rifles, its rich history, evolution, organisational ethos and operational dynamics with particular emphasis on its enduring relevance in Tripura.
The interaction highlighted the Force’s multifaceted role in maintaining security, fostering peace and strengthening civil-military synergy in the region.
The briefing also provided the probationers an opportunity to understand the unique challenges of the Northeast and Assam Rifles’ contribution towards security, stability, nation-building and community engagement over the years.
The visit reaffirmed the importance of greater institutional understanding and collaboration between civil administration and security forces towards a peaceful, secure and progressive Tripura.
