Agartala, 11th June 2025 :  A delegation from the Tripura Assembly’s all-party committee conducted inspections across various student hostels in Agartala today. The committee comprising MLAs from the ruling and partner parties is tasked with assessing hostel conditions and ensuring proper services for students.

Led by Chairman Ranjit Das, the delegation visited three hostels in the Sadar district including the ST hostel. Speaking on the initiative, Das highlighted that the committee representing SC, OBC and Minority groups in the assembly is responsible for inspecting student accommodations and addressing any shortcomings.

“During today’s inspection, we examined all services provided in the hostels. While most facilities are functional, some gaps were identified,” said Das. He assured that these issues will be discussed in an upcoming assembly meeting, where officials will be urged to take swift action to resolve them.
