Agartala, 22nd February 2024 : A dead body of 27-year-old auto-rickshaw driver identified as Indrajit Saha, was discovered in his vehicle today. The incident, unfolding in Garage Tila area, has prompted a thorough investigation by the Tripura Police of Belonia Police station, amidst claims from the deceased’s family that this was no ordinary death but a premeditated murder.
Indrajit Saha, a resident of Garage Tila, worked as an auto driver in the Chottakhola area. According to his elder brother, the deceased was last heard from around 9:30 PM when he expressed his intention to wrap up work and head home to SBC Nagar. The brother, who had no further communication with Indrajit, was met with a chilling discovery the next morning. Upon opening the shop for the day, it was evident that something gruesome had occurred. Indrajit’s auto-rickshaw was parked in front of the shop, and upon closer inspection, his lifeless body was found on the back seat.
Shockingly, blood was oozing from two distinct places on his body. The keys to the vehicle were clutched in his hand, while his mobile phone was discreetly tucked away. Rushed to Belonia hospital in an auto, the attending doctor declared Indrajit dead upon arrival. The circumstances surrounding his demise have raised suspicions, with the deceased’s brother firmly asserting that this was a meticulously planned murder. The Police swift in their response, have initiated a thorough investigation into what is now being classified as an unusual death case.
