Agartala, 12th February 2026: A one-day awareness programme on the PM Vishwakarma Yojana was held today at the Ardhendu Bhattacharjee Smriti Bhavan in Dharmanagar. The event was organized for MSME beneficiaries by the MSME Development and Facilitation Office, Agartala, under the Ministry of MSME, Government of India, in collaboration with the District Magistrate and Collector of North Tripura and the District Industries Centre (DIC), North Tripura.
The programme featured detailed discussions on the scheme and its benefits. Key dignitaries present included Prasun Kanti Das, Lead District Manager; Harshavardhan Kanakala, Assistant Director, MSME-DFO Agartala; Mrityunjay Chakraborty, Young Professional, MSME-DFO; District Council Chairperson Aparna Nath; Sajal Kumar Das, General Manager, DIC North Tripura; Joyjit Sharma, Chairman of the Standing Committee on Industries; and Kajal Das, Domain Expert, among others.
Around 120 beneficiaries participated in the awareness drive. Sessions focused on entrepreneurship development, covering topics such as the meaning of entrepreneurship, growth strategies, market trends, pricing, and sales techniques. Participants were also guided on product development, packaging, labeling, design, and marketing through e-commerce platforms.
The programme included a financial literacy session addressing banking procedures, credit support, and solutions to loan-related issues faced by PM Vishwakarma beneficiaries.
