Bakery driver goes missing; Family appeals for help

Agartala, 12th June 2025:   The disappearance of a bakery driver from Kathaltali in the Amtali police station area has left his family in distress, prompting them to seek police intervention.

It is reported that the 42-year-old Dipak Das, son of Dinesh Das from Nepali Tilla at Malaynagar went missing on the morning of June 09 after leaving for work. He was last seen near Maya Bakery around 9:30 am. When he failed to return home that evening, his family grew concerned. Despite extensive searches by relatives and friends, there was no trace of him.

Initially, Dipak Das’ wife approached Srinagar police station to report his absence. However, since he had gone missing from Kathaltali, authorities directed her to Amtali police station, where she officially filed a missing person’s diary on Thursday morning.

Dipak Das’ family, including his elderly parents, wife and two young sons are desperate for information about his whereabouts. His wife, visibly emotional, pleaded through the media for help in locating her husband.Police have launched an investigation into the matter.
