Agartala, 14th May 2025: In the heart of Lal Dahar, a quiet village in Kumarghat subdivision of Unakoti district, a bright name has emerged Bipasha Deb. The 19-year-old daughter of Banamali Deb and Shivani Chowdhury Deb has made her hometown proud by securing the first position in Kumarghat subdivision in the CBSE Higher Secondary Examination with an impressive 95.6% score.
Her academic journey, marked by dedication and perseverance began at Idol Nursery in Fatikroy followed by secondary education at Kumarghat Holy Cross Higher Secondary School. Pursuing bigger dreams, she moved to Agartala, enrolling in Shishu Bihar School for higher secondary studies, sacrificing the comfort of her home for academic excellence.
Reflecting on Bipasha’s hard-earned success, her mother Shivani Deb expressed, “We are overwhelmed by this achievement. She studied hard and today her efforts have paid off.”
Her father Banamali Deb echoed similar sentiments saying, “I never imagined someone from our small village could achieve this. But we always had faith in her.”
Bipasha’s stellar performance, earning letter marks in all five subjects and an overall 478 marks, has not only delighted her family but also filled the entire district with immense pride. Her journey stands as an inspiration to the younger generation in Lal Dahar, proving that hard work and determination can break barriers and open doors to success.
As celebrations continue in her village, the people of Unakoti look forward to Bipasha’s bright future, believing that her achievements will leave an indelible mark on both education and society.
